Course Summary
The large growth of investment services firms, the credit sector and accounting and legal firms, where their counterparties are on a global scale, has created an urgent need for the supervision of their activities by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and the corresponding department on a pan-European level.
Employees, in these sectors, must by law be aware of both domestic legislation and European directives in order to operate within the limits set by the supervisory authorities. As a sector of the economy, the provision of services occupies about 80% of our GDP and therefore it is imperative to provide up-to-date data to officials of these types of businesses, which this programme provides.
