Course Summary
The need to offer the programme arose because this law provides a strong framework that protects citizens who work in the public or private sector and have information in their workplace about malpractices, scandals, corruption issues, information that has come into their possession or come to their attention within their workplace, which they have a reasonable belief is true and relates to violations of national law.
The law protects them from dismissal, targeting and discriminatory treatment. This legislation was recently passed by the plenary of the House of Representatives.
