The "Up To YOU(th)" Festival returns, renewed for the 7th time, on Saturday, September 23rd at 17:00, at the Acropolis Park in Nicosia.

With the same strong enthusiasm and the slogan "Up to You(th)," the 7th edition of the Youth Festival by the Cyprus Youth Organization invites the public to a celebration of youth, with the young people themselves as the protagonists, sending a powerful message that today and tomorrow are in the hands of the new generation, a generation that dares to dream and hope for a better tomorrow.

The established NGO Fair, held in collaboration with the NGO Support Centre and the Cyprus Youth Council, featuring the active participation of 70+ Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other organizations and entities, is once again an ideal opportunity for young people interested in actively engaging in issues that concern them, such as the environment, human rights, culture, volunteering, and more.

At the Festival, young people will also find the Tech Fair, a technology exhibition by educational institutions and other organizations, where they will have the opportunity to participate in interactive technology applications, enjoy robots in special tracks, competitions, virtual reality, and programming. Additionally, the organization "Sci-Co Cyprus" will conduct fascinating science experiments in which anyone interested can participate.

For those who want to get to know and better understand pop culture, the Geek Mania exhibition will be present at this year's Festival, enriching the event with exhibits featuring retro games, gaming, and comics from collectors in the field, showcasing this unique culture.

Those with a special interest in the arts, specifically illustration, will have the opportunity to meet the Cypriot artist Anna Miltiadou, also known as BRAINFKR, who will create live art inspired by contemporary Cypriot culture.

Furthermore, young people can participate in social activities, including the Human Library, where they can meet "human books" who share their stories and engage in a creative dialogue with readers.

This year's Festival has prepared a dynamic and rich program for the audience, including live music, short film screenings by Cypriot creators in collaboration with "GeekOtopos" and the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus, as well as impressive constructions by the Scouts Association. The Cyprus Astronomical Society will elevate the program by allowing the public to observe the night sky, stars, and planets through telescopes set up in the area.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in open discussions on topics that concern youth, workshops, and various social activities, such as watching a basketball game with the participation of the Hope Team, a team of political refugees, promoting the message that sports can contribute to social inclusion and integration.

In addition, Geekotopos will turn the caves of the Park into a recording studio, where they will produce three different podcasts live with audience participation: "Geekout," dedicated to reviews and analysis of movies, TV shows, and video games; "SheSpeaks," promoting women's participation in STEM fields; and "ΙστοριΚών/HistoriCon," the Cypriot podcast with the most downloads on Spotify.

Of course, music and dance will be an integral part of a youth festival. The Festival stage will be filled with rhythms and melodies to suit every taste, with concerts by the Davini Music (Hip Hop, Soul, RnB), On Tour (Contemporary, Rock), and Tease (Rock, Pop) bands.

The Simba Animal Aid and the Cyprus School of Dog Training will also be present with adoptable dogs and useful tips for better communication with our pets.

For the younger visitors, there will be a children's corner with engaging environmental activities, original board games, face painting, and shadow theater performances.

The 7th "Up To YOU(th)" Festival is part of the Cyprus Youth Organization's goal to inspire the active participation of more and more young people in public life.
