PASCAL Private School was established in 1978 to teach English as a second language and prepare students for the GCE A Level examinations in mathematics and various other subjects under the brand name PASCAL Institute.
Rapid expansion followed, and PASCAL Institute became Cyprus's largest chain of institutes. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus fully accredits PASCAL schools. They are also centers of Cambridge International Examinations and Pearson Edexcel.
Over the years, more than 20,000 parents have entrusted PASCAL Institute with their children's learning.
Today PASCAL is the largest organization with the most experience in Cyprus dealing with education, with more than 1,800 students and over 300 staff members. It includes three English-speaking kindergartens, three English-speaking primary schools, three English-speaking secondary schools, and two Greek-speaking secondary schools across the island in Nicosia, Limassol, and Larnaca.
PASCAL Education aims to offer education that develops intellectually and physically active and creative young individuals who will leave school with an understanding that learning is a lifelong process in which they are active participants. With their acquired critical thinking skills, compassion, and knowledge, able individuals work towards creating a better world in which awareness and understanding of different cultures are a prerequisite for progress and success.
PASCAL English School aims for its pupils to know that in today's rapidly changing world, it is an absolute necessity to anticipate change and respond to it adequately and timely.
Pupils are encouraged to take an interest in issues of importance to the global community, such as human rights and the environment and to accept their shared responsibility as global citizens.
