The BSc in Computer Engineering at EUC equips students with the software, hardware and electronics engineering skills required to design, deliver and maintain computing systems.Students gain a firm foundation in the principles and theory of Computer Engineering and are then able to select concentrations in Telecommunications or Data and Computer Networking. The program provides students with skills in the newest software techniques as well as digital electronics. Our students develop practical skills through extensive design project work in teams, covering computing, robotics, electronics and embedded systems. An essential component of the program is hands-on lab work to design and develop a solution to a real-life problem. Students participate in internships to boost their CV prior to graduation. The Computer Engineering degree at EUC is recognized by the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus( ETEK).
Professional Recognition The BSc in Computer Engineering of EUC is recognized by the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), which is often a requirement for employment by a number of organizations in Cyprus including CYTA and EAC. In addition, the degree is recognized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM)
Microsoft Innovation Center The program is linked to the Microsoft Innovation Center that operates on EUC campus Cyprus and the Partner Organizations of the Center for placement of students in internship programs to gain professional experience before graduation and to create and support start- ups

*Summer Session: up to 15 ECTS
The general admission requirement for all undergraduate programs is the successful completion of the secondary education cycle. All applicants will need to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions
Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6.5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.
