The Bachelor’s degree of Finance and Investments intends to provide a rigorous academic approach to finance and
investments with a focus on practical skills and employability. The program seeks to prepare the students for the real
business world challenges at National and International levels through the continuous updates of the curricula.
Our program must meet the regular changes in career opportunities and further academic studies, and of course
the professional certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), where the program of study is designed
to be fully aligned with the CFA program.
Overall, we expect our graduates to be endowed with high professional and ethical standards to act in a socially
responsible manner.

The following must be fulfilled for a student to be admitted:

Proficiency in English:
∙ TOEFL score of 550 paper-based, 213 computer based, and 79 for Internet based or
∙ IELTS with a score of 6, however students that score between 5.5 & 6 will attend supporting classes for the first year or
∙ IGSCE grade “C”
Students who have not taken any of the above exams can opt for AUCY’s English Entrance Test.
EACH APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION SHOULD INCLUDE:

SOPHOMORE AND FIRST YEAR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must hold a school leaving certificate or its equivalent, as determined by the Cypriot Ministry of Education,
in order to be eligible for the Sophomore or First-Year Class. All applicants must have completed their secondary
school education or the high school program, consisting of (or equivalent to) twelve years of schooling, to be considered
for admission to an undergraduate program, and hold a bachelor’s degree for admission to a graduate program.
TOEFL: AUCY requires a minimum score of 550 for paper-based, 213 for computer-based, and 79 for internet-based.
IELTS: AUCY requires a minimum score of 6, however, if a student scores between 5.5 and 6, he or she will receive
supporting classes for the first year. Alternatively, students can sit for the AUCY English Entrance Test.
IGCSE: AUCY requires a “ C “ grade in English.
Students who have not taken any of the above exams can opt for the AUCY’s English Entrance Test.
