The School of Law at EUC holds the proud distinction of being the first autonomous law school in the country. The Master of Laws program at EUC allows you to develop your understanding of modern legal issues in penal, administrative, civil and international commercial law with specialization in International Commercial Law or Public Law. With a strong faculty, flexible scheduling and a comprehensive curriculum the LLM degree covers legal developments at the national, European and international levels. The program ensures students are well-grounded in Cyprus and Greek statutes, case law and European Union legal instruments. Our graduates are equipped with theoretical knowledge, critical thinking skills and communication skills they need in order to be competitive in legal practice.

Για επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και απονομή του τίτλου σπουδών ο φοιτητής πρέπει να συμπληρώσει τις απαιτήσεις του Προγράμματος όπως στον πιο πάνω πίνακα (σύνολο 30 Πιστωτικές Μονάδες, 90 ECTS). O φοιτητής θα μπορεί είτε να επιλέγει μαθήματα αποκλειστικά από τη μία εκ των δύο ειδικότερων κατευθύνσεων δικαίου που προβλέπονται στο πρόγραμμα, Διεθνούς Εμπορικού Δικαίου, και Δημοσίου Δικαίου, οπότε θα λαμβάνει μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών του Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα Ειδίκευσης στο Διεθνές Εμπορικό Δίκαιο ή στο Δημόσιο Δίκαιο αντίστοιχα, είτε θα μπορεί να επιλέγει μαθήματα υποχρεωτικά κατεύθυνσης και επιλογής ανεξάρτητα από την κατεύθυνση στην οποία ανήκουν, οπότε ο μεταπτυχιακός τίτλος σπουδών που θα λαμβάνει θα ονομάζεται Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα στη Νομική (Master of Laws [LL.M.])».

The criteria for admission to European University Cyprus have been set to enable the Office of Admissions to select students who have the ability to do university-level work and to place students in courses and programs appropriate to their academic strengths, in an effort to help them successfully realize their full academic potential.
Our students come from many parts of the world and bring with them a wide range of academic skills, experiences, special interests, talents and cultural backgrounds. The Office of Admissions aims to form a student body which will give the opportunity to each student to share education and grow in experience as a member of an international community.
All applicants must have completed a secondary (high) school education or twelve years of schooling or the equivalent, to be considered for admission to undergraduate study, or hold a bachelor’s degree for post-graduate study.
Candidates who have successfully completed part of their studies at an accredited university may be exempted from respective courses in the program they attend at European University Cyprus, thus reducing the period of study to obtain their degrees. For the evaluation of transferred courses, candidates must submit a copy of their transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
