Course Summary

The Marketing and Digital Communications degree at EUC equips you with the technical and soft skills to help organizations compete for attention in an integrated and digitalized global economy.  Our degree aims to nurture creative, ethical and strategic leaders by offering high-quality courses and hands-on experiences. Students are exposed to contemporary concepts and practices in key areas of marketing, digital media and social media strategies to succeed in the fast-paced and dynamic marketing industry. The program focuses on practical, real-world assignments and exercises, which cultivate teamwork, communication and analytical skills.  Our students are supported and encouraged to gain experience through placements and internships during their studies.

Career Prospects

Erasmus+ Exchange

Marketing and Digital Communications students participate in the Erasmus+ exchange program where they study for one or two semesters in a partner university in one of the member states of the European Union. The EUC Erasmus Office coordinates and supports participants throughout the process. Funding is provided by the Cyprus Erasmus National Agency and supports travelling and living expenses. EU and Non-EU nationals are eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ student exchange program.

PEAK

The Business students are introduced from an early stage into the world of start-ups and spin offs at the Annual Entrepreneurship Boot camp organized by EUC-PEAK (Performance Enterprise Accelerator and Knowledge Innovation Center). EUC-PEAK targets to become a hub for research and aims to support and accelerate efforts of Entrepreneurship, Business Innovation and Knowledge Transfer.

How to apply

The general admission requirement for all undergraduate programs is the successful completion of the secondary education cycle. All applicants will need to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions, in electronic form to admit@euc.ac.cy, in order to be considered for admission to the university:

 

  1. A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52.

  3. Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English

  5. Proof of English language proficiency (if any)*
  6.  
  7. Copy of a valid passport (for international applicants only)

Qualification requirements

The general admission requirement for all undergraduate programs is the successful completion of the secondary education cycle. All applicants will need to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions

 

Student classification – as freshman, sophomore, junior or senior – depends upon the number of ECTS successfully completed. The ECTS for each classification are:

Freshman

0-60 ECTS

Sophomore

61-120 ECTS

Junior

121-180 ECTS

Senior

180 or more ECTS

 

Students may register as part-time or full-time, depending on ECTS per semester and period of study.

 Requirements for full-time students: 

*Fall and Spring Semester: up to 30 ECTS

*Summer Session: up to 15 ECTS

Additional entry requirements

English language requirements

Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6.5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.
