The MSc in Occupational Safety and Health at EUC provides students with advanced knowledge and skills to identify hazards, evaluate risks and recommend control methods in different situations. Multidisciplinary in nature, the program equips students with high-level theoretical and practical training, including the fundamentals of engineering, psychology, sociology and health sciences. Students are able to define and explore their specific area of interest for research and master’s thesis. Graduates receive full recognition for registration as Consultants for External Services for Provision of Preventive and Protective Services for Occupational Safety and Health issues (EXYPP), as defined by the Ministry of Labour.

The criteria for admission to European University Cyprus have been set to enable the Office of Admissions to select students who have the ability to do university-level work and to place students in courses and programs appropriate to their academic strengths, in an effort to help them successfully realize their full academic potential.
Our students come from many parts of the world and bring with them a wide range of academic skills, experiences, special interests, talents and cultural backgrounds. The Office of Admissions aims to form a student body which will give the opportunity to each student to share education and grow in experience as a member of an international community.
All applicants must have completed a secondary (high) school education or twelve years of schooling or the equivalent, to be considered for admission to undergraduate study, or hold a bachelor’s degree for post-graduate study.
Candidates who have successfully completed part of their studies at an accredited university may be exempted from respective courses in the program they attend at European University Cyprus, thus reducing the period of study to obtain their degrees. For the evaluation of transferred courses, candidates must submit a copy of their transcripts to the Office of Admissions.

Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6.5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.
