Aigaia drama school offers children, teenagers and adults the opportunity to unfold personal qualities, develop and express themselves and feel the excitement of a performance. Our aim is to contribute to the growth of the quality theatre scene in Cyprus and in extend “theatre culture”, in the Cypriot society.
Interested students can follow an individual programme for the preparation for the auditions to study drama in Cyprus and abroad. The preparation will focus on the requirements of the schools in which they want to apply.

Participants in a theater program gain a broad knowledge of theater, and cultivate their personality. The expression and the unfolding of the human soul are the greatest freedom that can be given by engaging in the arts and especially in the theater. After all, a theatrical performance is the culmination of the synthetic contribution of many art forms.
The courses are taught by professionals in the field with teaching experience, contributing to psychosocial development, which is based on the continuous provision of opportunities for spontaneous, creative and unpretentious expression.
Our primary goal is to help students – children, teenagers and adults – to express themselves and communicate as a group, with other people and the end recipient public. Our goal is to satisfy the need to express emotions and communicate between people, mainly through the function of the theatrical game, for the development of the actors' imagination and observation. Acquainting them with the works of playwrights and other writers from Cyprus and abroad is a way to lead them to a performance where they learn to behave as a team, enriching their vocabulary and knowledge, taking inspiration from other types of arts such as music , painting and dancing.
The application of all the above is based on the specificities and abilities of each group, always taking into account the maturity of each individual.
Theater groups give everyone the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills to the greatest extent possible, despite differences in learning ability. In addition, theater contributes to the development of capacities in all the following areas:
Drama Examination preparation: Preparation of theater exams with language of instruction and examination in English.
At TheatroAigaia, for the recognition and certification of theatrical knowledge, skills and level, our students are encouraged to include in their lessons the preparation for the Lamda examinations. Our school is an accredited LAMDA center, for the teaching, organisation and implementation of all their programs and examinations

Preparation for applications and auditions to Drama Schools and/or Universities abroad including Greece, for studies in theater and Acting.
At Theatro Aigaia we play theater to give a way out to our energy and imagination. To develop our expressive means, to “unblock” our body and our voice, to free ourselves from all kinds of molds. Because it gives us the opportunity to enter other worlds, to transform, to experience different situations, to face problems, dilemmas and passions and to exorcise them. To make new friends and try to achieve positive goals together. Because we love “beautiful” and love “art”, and theater is inclusive of all the arts. To communicate messages, to move, to entertain, to have fun!
The workshops are aimed at teenagers of all ages and levels, with or without experiences.
The program includes 1-2 meetings per week, and includes: Acting, improvisation, theatrical play, movement, rhythm, speech education, theatrical singing.
The schedule is released before the start of the academic year.
