Course Summary
Within the framework of the continuing professional training of lifelong learning trainers, the programme is proposed to cover the training needs of trainers related to the use of digital technologies in the context of the education and training programmes they offer. The proposed programme enriches the framework of the existing AnAD standard 'Vocational Training Instructor - Level 5' and provides expertise in the use and exploitation of digital technology as a means of upgrading and modernising the institution of the Vocational Training Instructor. As an organisation under public law with the mission to create the conditions for planned and systematic training and development of the human resources of Cyprus, ANAD is expected to play a leading role on the strategy to be followed by the vocational education and training sector in Cyprus for the use of digital technology.
Undoubtedly, the rapid development of new technologies requires the formulation of new data, methodologies and practices in the workplace and, therefore, creates new training needs in the vocational education and training sector to increase the performance and productivity of human resources in organisations. For this reason, there is a need to train lifelong learning trainers in good practices of applying digital technologies in education and training in order to maximise the benefits of technology for optimising the performance and productivity of human resources in organisations.

The trainee:
- Apply knowledge of instructional design using digital technology

- Develop appropriate evaluation tools for their programmes using technological tools
- Create and edit sound files
