Course Summary
Economics is the social science that deals with the study of economic phenomena, such as determining the prices of goods in the market, supply and demand, economic crises, and the measures that governments of various countries have taken or are taking to address them. Economists play a crucial role in the development of economic policies for governments and in projecting the impact of policy and regulatory changes.
Prospects
Apart from an academic career, they can be employed by large organizations (such as financial institutions) as well as in the public sector.
