Michalis Sokratous, a speech therapist and special educator, and Dr. Nikos Ilias, a psychologist, established the "Lion Guard" Children's and Baby Center as their vision via their experience and scientific knowledge. So began this lovely journey.
With shared objectives, guiding principles, and a philosophy, as well as a great deal of passion and affection for kids, we want to be a "School of Life" for our tiny friends, who are their first and most significant friends.
According to psychology research, a child's preschool years are a crucial time since they are when their personality, conduct, and cognitive foundations are first formed.
The overall, physical, mental, emotional, and social development of the kid is the "Lions Guard's" top priority, keeping in mind that every child develops at a different rate and has a unique personality.
We allow children to reflect, experiment, share feelings and experiences, make errors, and learn at their own speed. With experiential learning, we make it simple for kids to learn for themselves by empowering and enabling their intrinsic tendency for inquiry.
We have developed a secure and engaging atmosphere at our school. Here, with a focus on experiential learning, kids are exposed to a structured learning environment that encourages them to explore their own identities and the world around them.
To ensure that emotional safety, inner serenity, and personal empowerment come before the investment in information in this early childhood, we create pleasant experiences for kids while showering them with lots of love and affection.
With regard to the fundamental life values that mold engaged students today and at the same time responsible and active adults of tomorrow, the goal is specifically the cultivation of abilities, positive attitudes, and behaviors.
Therefore, we established the "Guard of Lions"—the first and most significant "School" of their lives—with the basic vision of raising children with love for themselves and others, self-confidence and autonomy to grasp knowledge, but also to be social, cooperative, and responsible members of a social group.
