2 – 17 February 2024
Opening: Friday, 2 February @20:00
The exhibition features works by second-year students of the "Fine Arts" program at the Aigaia School of Fine and Applied Arts.
The exhibition is a unique opportunity for the public to explore the diversity of artistic outcomes resulting from their creative journey. Each work represents an individual and unique creative path, presenting distinct perspectives and expressions.
During their second year, students explore various contemporary issues such as identity, freedom of speech, and other political, personal, and social matters, serving as a catalyst for artistic exploration. Through the use of contemporary multidimensional artistic approaches, students explore cultural, political, and personal themes, challenging stereotypes and pushing the boundaries of expression. As a result, the visual arts become not only a mirror reflecting contemporary reality but also a catalyst for discussion and social self-reflection.
The exhibition also features works by students from other years, as well as adult learners, exploring various fields of fine and applied arts, materials, and techniques, contributing as a whole to a dynamic presentation of their creative pursuits.
The exhibition opening will take place on Friday, 2 February 2024 @20:00, at the School building, 81 Agion Omonogiton Avenue.
The exhibition will be open Monday – Saturday, 2-17 February, during the school's operating hours.
